Accessibility statement

How well widget.solutions works for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, zoom or reduced motion. What we built in, what is not perfect yet, and how to tell us.

1. Our aim

We want everyone to be able to use widget.solutions: people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, zoom or larger text, or who are sensitive to motion. We build client websites to the same standard, so our own has to meet it first.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This is the standard that the European accessibility rules and the EN 301 549 norm refer to. This statement covers widget.solutions in English and in Croatian.

2. How accessible this website is

We believe the website meets WCAG 2.2 level AA in almost all of its content. The parts that do not fully meet it are listed under Known limits, together with what we do about them.

3. What we built in

  • Keyboard: everything works with the keyboard alone, and a bright outline always shows where you are. The first Tab on every page offers a link that skips straight to the content.
  • Screen readers: each page has one main heading and a clear order of headings below it, the main areas are marked as header, navigation, content and footer, images that carry meaning have a text description and decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
  • Contrast: all text meets at least 4.5 to 1 against its background. You can check the numbers yourself below.
  • Zoom and small screens: pages work from 320 pixels wide, so you can zoom to 400% without scrolling sideways, and text can be enlarged or spaced out without being cut off.
  • Motion: when your device asks for reduced motion, animations stop. Nothing on the website flashes.
  • Tap targets: buttons and links meet the WCAG 2.2 minimum size, so they are easy to hit with a finger.
  • No forms and no time limits: there is nothing to fill in and nothing that runs out. You contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, with the tools you already use.
  • Your settings come first: we do not block zoom, and the website follows the text size set in your browser.

4. Check it yourself

You do not have to take our word for it. Try the checks below on this page.

Press Tab to move forward, Shift + Tab to go back and Enter to press. This box shows where you are, in the words a screen reader uses. On a phone, tap any button or link.

WaitingNothing is selected yet. Press Tab.

Moves so far: 0. Every control on this website is a real button, link or input, so the keyboard reaches all of them.

5. Known limits

These parts do not fully meet the standard yet, or are not fully in our control:

  • Visual demos: some tools show something that is visual by nature, such as the photo and video simulators, the fogged window or the markets map. They all work with the keyboard and the text next to them explains what they show, but the visual effect itself cannot be fully described in words.
  • Drag and drop: where a tool lets you drag something, you can also use the arrow keys or a button instead.
  • Google content: the homepage map, the results inside Site X-ray and the Google reviews come from Google. We load them in an accessible way, but we cannot change how they are built.
  • Blog posts: we add a text description to every image we publish. If you find one without, tell us and we fix it.
  • Testing: so far the website has been checked by us, with automated tests and by hand. It has not yet been audited by an independent expert or tested by a panel of people with disabilities.

If anything on the website does not work for you, we can send you the same information another way, for example as plain text by email, or simply explain it on the phone.

6. How we checked

On 14 October 2026 we tested every page of the website in three ways:

  • Automated test: axe-core checked each page against all WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 rules at levels A and AA.
  • Keyboard: a script pressed Tab through every page, on a computer screen and on a phone-sized screen, and checked that every control it reached shows a visible outline.
  • Screen sizes: every page at 320, 375, 1440 and 2560 pixels wide, checked for anything that scrolls sideways or gets cut off.

We fix every issue these tests find before a page is published. We also checked the contrast of every colour pair the website uses. Automated tests catch only part of the problems, so we also check by hand whenever we add or change a page.

7. Tell us about a problem

If something is hard to use, does not work with your assistive technology, or you need content in another format, tell us. Say which page it is and what happened, and we reply as soon as we can.

8. About this statement

We publish this statement voluntarily. It was prepared on 14 October 2026 and is based on our own assessment. We review it whenever we change the website in a big way, and at least once a year, and update the date at the top.

Something not working for you? Tell us which page and what happened, and we fix it.
